Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

Career Refined provides customized professional services and digital deliverables. Our work may involve professional time, research, strategy, writing, editing, consultation preparation, and individualized development. For that reason, refunds are handled differently from returns of physical retail products.

Cancellation Before Work Begins

A client may request cancellation within 24 hours of purchase, provided Career Refined has not begun work on the purchased service. If eligible, the payment will be refunded to the original payment method.

After Work Has Begun

Once work has begun—including review of submitted materials, research, résumé development, writing, editing, strategy development, consultation preparation, AI or workflow development, or other customized work—the purchase is generally non-refundable.

If Career Refined Cannot Provide the Service

If Career Refined is unable to provide a purchased service, we will work with the client toward an appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include rescheduling, service credit, an alternative service, or a refund.

Revisions

Packages that include revisions are limited to the number stated in the package description. Revision requests must relate to the original information, career direction, or project scope supplied by the client. Requests that substantially change the target position, industry, business project, or original scope may require an additional fee.

Consultations and Rescheduling

Clients should provide at least 24 hours' notice when rescheduling a consultation whenever possible. Repeated missed appointments or late cancellations may require a new appointment fee or may reduce the availability of priority scheduling.

Digital Deliverables

Completed résumés, cover letters, templates, AI prompts, SOPs, strategy documents, and other customized digital materials are non-returnable once delivered.

How to Request a Cancellation or Refund Review

Submit your request using the support contact information published on CareerRefined.com. Include your name, email address used at checkout, service purchased, purchase date, and a brief explanation of the request. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method and may take additional time to appear depending on the payment processor or financial institution.
